Greeley Urban Renewal Authority (GURA)

Committed to neighborhood improvements and the development and maintenance of safe, decent, affordable housing for low and moderate income residents.

The City of Greeley, Colorado annually receives two grants from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) grant.

The grants are to assist the City in matters of community development and housing for the low- moderate-income residents of the City. Prior to distributing the grant awards, the City must develop a Consolidated Plan to identify the priorities and goals that will potentially receive funding from one of the named grants. This Consolidated Plan is for the years 2015-2019. Administration of the grants will be via the City Manager’s Office, Greeley Urban Renewal Authority (GURA) Division.
