Works by Stephanie Burchett & Erin Casey

Artists’ Reception September 4, 5-7pm

Works by Richard Eisen

Artists’ Reception September 18, 5-7pm

“My work is the product of many eclectic sources. Some of these influences are architectural and religious in nature. I use the concept of Spirituality as the power to unify opposites. This bridging continues: historically and culturally, masculine and feminine imagery, a diversity of materials and an eclectic use of both contemporary and traditional architectural styles; all brought together to form abstract graphic symbols of ideas. Of great importance to me is that the art operates on multiple levels and contains visual signifiers of spirituality which can be universally understood.” Richard Eisen

Real/Unreal - John Bonath

Artists’ Reception TBA

Recent developments in digital photography have greatly expanded the ways that art- ists can influence their images. The possibilities are bound only by imagination and John Bonath has a tremendous imagination. He purposefully challenges our conceptions of truth and fiction. The series Real/UnReal: Botanical Studies focuses on specimens that have interesting colors, shapes and textures. As often as he finds subjects during walks along a river, Bonath also finds subjects while shopping at convenience stores. His sources are often unexpected. www.johnbonath.com
