Child Car Seat Inspections

Union Colony Fire/Rescue Authority offers car seat checks at our fire stations. Checks are done Monday through Friday by appointment and citizens can "drop in" Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 to 11:00.Call (970)350-9500 for an appointment
Citizens Ride Along Program Union Colony Fire/Rescue Authority offers the opportunity for citizens to Ride-Along with the Fire fighters.  Please download the following required documents
Employee Fire Safety Training Training in fire extinguisher use, kitchen safety, evacuation techniques, hospital/nursing home safety, and other special employee training
Fire Extinguisher Classes Fire extinguisher training at your location free of charge. The group or entity receiving training must provide fire extinguishers. Training sessions normally last 1-2 hours depending on the number of participants. Please call 1-2 weeks in advance to schedule the training.
Fire Safety Survey
Contact Fire Prevention for a Fire Safety Survey. Our team, with your consent will inspect your home at no cost to you and at your convenience. They can help prepare and escape route and more.
Fire Station Tours Union Colony Fire/Rescue Fire Stations and their personnel are pleased to welcome groups and individuals for tours. On-duty Authority personnel will show the station and equipment, and explain a firefighter's responsibilities.
Safety Presentation Call to schedule a fire safety presentation for your organization
Safety Trailer In order to demonstrate the importance of fire safety in the home, UCFRA has a Fire Safety Trailer that is available for schools, youth organizations and other events. The trailer is designed to simulate conditions found in a home fire and to encourage the public to plan and practice their own home fire drills. Please schedule one month in advance.
