Collection of Fines & Penalties
Court fines and penalties are due the day of court. Court staff is responsible for collecting and receipting all court fines and penalties. Click here for more information on making payments.
If the defendant cannot pay the entire amount due on the day of Court, the Court clerks may be able to work with the defendant to set up payment arrangements. The fee for payment arrangements is $25 to $50, depending on how long you need to make full payment.
If you make arrangements for time to pay a fine, it is important that you make payments on time or appear in Court on that date. Failing to do so may result in one or more of the following, until the balance is paid in full.
- A Bench Warrant issued for your arrest
- An Outstanding Judgment hold placed on your license
- Notification of a professional collection agency
Warrants are processed automatically every evening with no exceptions.
