SUMMER FUN IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER
Traditionally, Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of summer and all the fun in the sun. Outdoor Pools and Splash Parks in Greeley open on Thursday, May 23 this year, the day after the last day of school. Over Memorial Day weekend there will be many events and facilities you can visit with friends and family. All City of Greeley recreation facilities will be open their regular hours on Memorial Day, except the Greeley Senior Activity Center and the Rodarte Community Center, which will be closed.
Cool off this summer at the Greeley Ice Haus! Public Skate Sessions are extended May 23-August 16 Monday-Friday from 12-2:45pm and Saturday & Sunday 12-1:30pm. Enjoy Cosmic Skating, with multi-colored lighting effects on Friday & Saturday nights from 7:15-8:45pm. Admission is just $5 for adults/youth on weekends and $4 on weekdays, 4 year olds and younger are always $1, skate rental is $2. Check out Golfing Galore Friday, May 17 – all you golfers out there…come skate wearing plaid or argyle and receive 2-for-1 admission. Try to get a hole in one and win a prize! The Textbook Toss will be held Friday, May 31 from 7:15-8:45pm — Celebrate schools out for summer! Donate a children’s book for the Rodarte Community Center and receive 2-for-1 admission.
