Subject: 2013 Free Walking Tour: Stories and Architecture in the Arlington Neighborhood
The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission invites the public to a walking tour about stories and architecture in the Arlington Neighborhood on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. The tour will begin at the southwest corner of the intersection at 17th Street and 8th Avenue on the University of Northern Colorado campus and continue through the neighborhood to the east. Call 350.9222 to check accessibility. The event is free and open to the public.
The walking tours provide citizens with a chance to hear about and see interesting sites with historical and cultural significance to Greeley. The 2013 walking tours focus on the University District neighborhoods, and the Historic Preservation Commission invites the public to come share stories and memories of the neighborhoods on the tours and learn about the University District and the oral history project.

June 3 Stories and Architecture in the Arlington Neighborhood. Starting location: UNC Campus, southwest corner of 17th Street and 8th Avenue, 7:00 p.m.
July 1 Cranford Homes and Gardens. Starting location: The Blue Mug at Margie’s, 931 16th Street, 7:00 p.m.
July 8 Stories in Glenmere. Starting location: Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1865 14th Avenue, 7:00 p.m.
July 29 UNC Tree Tour. Starting location: UNC Visitors’ Center, 1862 10th Avenue, 6:30 p.m.
August 5 Hillside/Farr Neighborhood. Starting location: Farr Park Shelter, Farr Park, 13th Avenue and 26th Street, 6:30 p.m.
September 16 Alles Acres. Starting location: Jackson Elementary School Parking Lot, 2002 25th Street, 5:30 p.m.
