Greeley’s annual Arts Picnic will celebrate 35 years of summertime fun Saturday, July 27, from
9:00am –5:00pm and Sunday, July 28 from 9:00am – 4:00pm.  Considered one of Northern Colorado’s best arts, crafts & music festivals, the Arts Picnic draws more than 20,000 people to Greeley’s historic Lincoln Park.
Over 150 artisans from all over the nation will gather in Greeley to sell their hand-made wares ranging from pottery, paintings, and photography to glassware, gourmet food and garden art!  And, if you feel like taking a shopping break and having a “cold one,” stop in the beer garden and enjoy Center Stage entertainment!
Add a food court with over a dozen booths full of delicious delights from around the world including gyros, burritos, crepes and calzones plus mouthwatering BBQ and you’ve got an event that has been rated one of the top arts, crafts and music festivals in Northern Colorado.
Well known Colorado bands performing everything from rock, blues and honkytonk to big band, folk and country will entertain on two stages throughout the weekend.  Clowns, magicians and storytellers will amuse the very young “picnickers” on the Merry Makers Kids’ Stage.
While in Creation Station Kids’ Hands-On Area, pint-size-Picassos will be busy with make-and-take projects that encourage creativity and excite the imagination. Don’t miss this annual feast of fun for everyone!
The festival is presented by the city of Greeley with support from major sponsors Xfinity, John Elway Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, Kaiser Permanente, Flood & Peterson Insurance, Banner Health/North Colorado Medical Center, TRI-102.5, K-99, The Tribune, and co-sponsors University of Northern Colorado and Affordable Roofing & Restoration.
