Prairie Harvest Festival at Centennial Village Museum
On Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18, the harvest celebrations begin with Prairie Harvest Festival at Centennial Village Museum.
Hands-on living history demonstrations will be at Centennial Village, including: hatchet throwing, candle dipping, blacksmithing and corn roasting. Visitors can ride around the Village in the Stagecoach or sit back and enjoy the Bluegrass tunes of the Tucker Mountain Band.
Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children ages 3 -17. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Weld County Food Bank and receive $1 off admission price.
Centennial Village Museum is located at 1475 A St. in Greeley, at Island Grove Park. Standard visiting hours are 10 am-4 pm, Wednesday-Saturday and 12 pm – 5 pm on Sunday through September.
