Catch the wave on the second annual City of Greeley’s Discovery Bay Doggie Day Saturday, August 17 at the best outdoor Waterpark in the tri-city area. Bring your dog out to Discovery Bay Waterpark, located at 715 E. 24th Street, for an exciting day that will be fun for the whole family. There are two swim sessions: 10am-12pm for dogs 50 lbs and under & 1-3pm for dogs over 51 lbs. The event will feature booths from presenting sponsors, doggie goodie bags filled with treats, toys and more; participants will even be able to take photo with their favorite furry friend. Tickets are only $5 (admits one dog and two human friends) if purchased by 3pm Friday, August 16 at the Family FunPlex (1501 65th Avenue) or the Greeley Recreation Center (651 10th Avenue) or $8 at the door the day of the event. Additional human friends are $2 per person at the door.
The event is presented by Happier at Home Pet Sitting, The Pet Inn, J & T Feeds, Tailwaggers, Sheep Draw Veterinary Clinic, the Greeley Tribune, Tri-102.5 & 99.9 the Point. Enjoy a live remote with Beano with 99.9 The Point at the first session. Display booths will be lining the outskirts of the pool for participant to explore. Event co-sponsors include Dog Poop Bags and Work Out West and the Greeley Chamber of Commerce. Many thanks to all of the sponsors of the event, for their support and donations – especially for the dog goodie bags.
