Subject: New Manager of Cultural Affairs
Greeley’s Culture, Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the hiring of a new Cultural Affairs Manager. On November 25, Jason Evenson was promoted from his position as Technical Services Coordinator at the Union Colony Civic Center.
Evenson has over 20 years of theatrical experience in a wide variety of positions including booking agent, producer, executive director, consultant, designer, stage manager and all areas of technical support. Since 2005 he has been working as the Technical Services Coordinator for the UCCC. Evenson also owned his own business, Evenson Technical Services, a full service theatrical solutions company for 12 years.
Andrew McRoberts, Director of CPRD, is thrilled to continue to work with Evenson as they have gotten to know each other over the past two years. “Jason has a very high work ethic and brings a new energy and excitement to our Cultural Affairs Division. He has an enthusiastic and dedicated passion, along with an outstanding staff, to carry out the City’s mission for quality and excellence!”
The Cultural Affairs division of CPRD is made up of the Greeley History Museums, the Union Colony Civic Center and Greeley’s Public Art Program. Evenson will directly supervise lead staff in each of these areas along with working with citizen advisory boards for each operation.
