Subject: Variances of Nature Exhibit at the Tointon Gallery
 
Local artists share their hand-crafted works of art created from the natural material of wood, in the new exhibit, Variances of Nature at the Tointon Gallery.  These labors of love will be on display at the Gallery from Dec 20 through Feb 3, 2014.
Every piece exhibits strength and beauty with each individual form and function. Contributing artists are members of the Rocky Mountain Woodturners:  Frank and Elizabeth Amigo, Vince Wilson, Hoyle Curtis, Kent Krueger, Doug Schneiter, and Allen Jensen. Pieces will also be exhibited by, William Nesse (luthier), Dana Gustafson (kayak builder) and Jeffrey Hughes (wood carver).
 
On Friday, Jan 3 visitors have chance to meet and talk with the artists at the exhibit reception from 5 – 7 pm. Ren Merry will also be entertaining with a live guitar performance. Refreshments will be provided.
 
The Tointon Gallery is located in the Greeley Downtown Recreation Center at 651 10th Ave.  The Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am – 5 pm, and during performances in the Monfort Concert Hall.
