Subject: Starting the New Year Off Right – Save a Life
The City of Greeley, now celebrating the designation of a Heart Safe Community, is offering a free CPR/AED course on Saturday, January 18th at 9:00 am. This is a short non-certified course to teach Greeley citizens CPR and understand the use of an Automated External Defibrillator or AED. The course is approximately a 1 ½ hour in length.
Studies show that if people do not receive CPR within 3 minutes and defibrillation within 5 minutes, their odds of survival drop dramatically. That’s why the Heart Safe City Project was created to train as many people as possible in CPR and getting as many AEDs as possible in public places.
Class will be held:
• Saturday, January 18th at 9:00 a.m. at the Greeley Fire Department, Station #1, 919 7th Street, Nusbaum Training Room.
This class is made possible from a generous donation by the NCMC Foundation
To sign up please call the Greeley Fire Department at (970) 350-9508 or email email@example.com
