Media Opportunity: Mayor Tom Norton will sign a letter from Greeley, sip the special water, and speak about Greeley’s good luck wishes for the Broncos on Monday, January 27 at 11:30 a.m.; Greeley City Hall, 1000 10th Street.
Greeley Mayor Tom Norton, City Council members and residents here are cheering on the Broncos in their Super Bowl bid. This is extremely exciting for Colorado and especially Greeley fans because here in Greeley we remember the Broncos Super Bowl glory days and the part our city played in those victories.
Fact: The last time the Broncos won the Super Bowl there was a significant connection to Greeley. It was back in the days when summer training camp was held here.
We know there’s plenty of talent on the Broncos roster, but it doesn’t hurt to do everything possible to apply a healthy dose of good luck for the biggest game. So the city is sending some special Greeley Good Luck to the team and coaching staff.
We’ve prepared a package containing 75 bottles of pure water bottled right here in Greeley—the same Rocky Mountain water that the Super Bowl champs used to shower and drink and ease their sore muscles during their successful run through the playoffs and their last Super Bowl win. The same water that powered the Greeley pioneers to overcome adversity and settle the rugged west can demonstrate its super powers once again and help lift the Broncos to another Super Bowl win.
Call us superstitious – we don’t care!
We hope this care package, with its healing powers and Super Bowl winning ‘mojo’ rubs off on the team. We’ve suggested that they spray it on, sprinkle it around, pour it on injured body parts or just drink it before the game.
Hey, it’s only weird if it doesn’t work . . . right?
We think the Win is in the Water! Go Broncos!
