Union Colony Civic Center welcomes The Ten Tenors on Feb. 28

The Union Colony Civic Center is proud to bring internationally acclaimed singing sensation The Ten Tenors to celebrate Broadway’s greatest hits in their hugely anticipated brand new show, The Ten Tenors on Broadway. They will be at the UCCC on Friday, February 28, at 7:30 p.m.
This dynamic live experience includes a rare chance to hear a collection of Broadway’s most-loved classics sung by ten of Australia’s world-renown tenors. Fans will be delighted by this powerful mix of theatrical showstoppers and heart-melting ballads as The Ten Tenors break new ground and take on some of the greatest show tunes in the world.
This incredible Australian troupe lends its ever-popular flair and individuality to a repertoire showcasing the best of Broadway, including “Impossible Dream” from Man of La Mancha, Phantom of the Opera’s “Music of the Night,” and “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables.
Following a successful world tour and the release of their latest album Double Platinum, The Ten Tenors’ new Broadway spectacular for the 2014 season is yet another world-class production, selling more than 3.5 million concert tickets worldwide.
Their unique approach to opera brings them adoration, respect and continually pushes the boundaries of the classical crossover genre. The group’s producer, DJ Wendt, says this electrifying new show is no exception.
“The ‘on Broadway’ show is the best yet for the group, and they are thrilled to be performing such entertaining and powerful repertoire.” he said. “The guys always leave an enduring presence wherever they perform, but I guarantee the ‘on Broadway’ show will be leaving the audience coming back for more.”
The Ten Tenors kicked off their international tour in January 2014 with four months of performances across the U.S. before returning to their home country of Australia for a two month national tour.
For further information and tickets, contact the UCCC ticket office at 970-356-5000, 1-800-315-ARTS, or go online at www.ucstars.com. The UCCC’s 25th Anniversary is the season to Come See The Stars!
