The City of Greeley’s One Percent for Art Program is requesting proposals from artists to create artwork for the Uptown Tree program along 8th Avenue between 10th Street and 16th Street in Greeley, CO. The Uptown Tree program is a means to aesthetically enhance 8th Ave. with variety of original ‘Art Trees’ in recognition of Greeley as a designated ‘Tree City’. Interpretive “sculptural trees” will be purchased from artists and integrated into the corridor as permanent works of art.
Attached is the artist application, including the sculptural guidelines, proposal timeline and additional information about the Uptown Tree Program.
