Subject:  High School Student to Donate Teddy Bears

Tomorrow (02/21/2014) at 11:30 am at Greeley Fire Station #1, 919 7th St., the Greeley Fire Department will be presented with Teddy bears which the fire department gives to children at emergency scenes who are involved in traumatic emergency events.
The Teddy bears will be presented by Northridge High School senior Amanda Carey. Amanda helped coordinate the collection of the Teddy bears at Northridge High School, the University of Northern Colorado, and Winograd School through a program dubbed “Cubs to Grizzlies to Bears” which are the three involved schools’ mascots.

Once the Teddy bears are received by the fire department, they will be placed on fire trucks so that they are readily available at emergency scenes.
