Subject: G.Town Tour Spots Available

Throughout 2014, the City of Greeley is offering free bus tours to acquaint residents and visitors with interesting aspects of the city that they might not otherwise know much about.  Dubbed “G.Town Tours”, City staff act as tour guides during a three-hour community bus ride designed to deepen participants’ knowledge about and appreciation for Greeley’s many assets.  All tours start and end at the Ice Haus, (900 8th Avenue) beginning at 3:00 p.m. and finishing at 6:00 p.m.  While the tour is free, seating is limited and reservations are required.

Reservations for the tours are taken generally two weeks in advance.  To get on board the first G. Town Tour of 2014, or for more information, contact Greeley City Hall at 350-9774 or email greta.steinmetz@greeleygov.com before noon, March 12th.

The 2014 tours include:
City Hall Crawl #1:  (City facilities inside and out) – March 14, 2014
Natural Places & Open Spaces:  (a view of Greeley’s ‘wild side’) - April 11, 2014
Greeley’s Creative District:  (arts, entertainment and innovation places) – May 9, 2014
Business around Town:  (how and where to view a range of Greeley’s workplaces) – June 13, 2013
Historic Places and Faces:  (Greeley’s earliest treasures) – August 08, 2014
City Hall Crawl #2:  (more City facilities inside and out) – September 12, 2014
