University District Neighborhood Meeting

Subject: University District Neighborhood Meeting
Residents of the University District neighborhood are invited to attend a neighborhood meeting sponsored by the City of Greeley Neighborhood Building Blocks program on Thursday, March 27th from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Foundation Hall (1516 8th Avenue).  Staff members from the City’s Neighborhood Resources, Urban Renewal, Culture, Parks and Recreation, Community Development, Public Works, and Police Departments will offer a variety of neighborhood updates and address resident questions.  North Colorado Health Alliance staff will also be on hand.
Topics for discussion include the status of the University District and Creative District Wayfinding programs, Benjamin Moore Paint What Matters project, the City’s Bicycle Plan, the 8th Avenue Corridor Improvement projects, 8th Avenue and 22nd Street Entryway project, 8th Avenue Public Art project (Uptown Trees), Tree Disease Alert (Emerald Ash Borer), G.Town Tours, housing rehabilitation loan assistance, and a City youth needs assessment survey.
