Subject: Who Can You Save With CPR? FREE Class April 19
According to the American Heart Association, four out of five cardiac arrests happen at home. By knowing CPR in an emergency, the life you save is likely to be someone at home: a child, a spouse, a parent or friend. Failure to act in a cardiac arrest can lead to unnecessary deaths. Cardiac arrest can happen to seven year olds, seventeen year olds and seventy year olds. Bystander CPR provided immediately can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival.
The City of Greeley has earned the designation of a Heat Safe Community thanks to the hard work and generous donations of local organizations. Part of this project includes free CPR/AED classes offered monthly. The next free non-certified class is scheduled for April 19th at 9:00am. To register for this 90 minute class call 350-9508 with your name and phone number or email firstname.lastname@example.org
