The Greeley Museums is celebrating spring with young animals at the annual, Baby Animal Days event at the Centennial Village. From April 7 – 20, cuddly farm animals will be visiting the Village, such as kittens, goats, horses, pigs, sheep, ponies, rabbits, chicks and ducklings.
The event is open daily for two weeks. Hours are: Monday through Saturday, 9 am-noon and 1-4 pm and Sundays 1 pm – 4pm. Admission is $2 for ages two and older. Cash or check only, please.
Volunteers are stationed at the animal pens and stalls to answer questions and ensure the safety of the visitors and animals. Visitors will be allowed to touch the animals based on instructions. Many exciting activities will also be available, including historic games and riding stick animals. Ponies will be brought in on weekends for rides around the Village for an additional cost.
Walk-in visitors are welcome, but groups of 10 or more are asked to reserve a time by calling the Greeley Museums’ office at (970) 350-9220.
Most of the animals this year are on loan from members of the Greeley West High School FFA through an agreement between the school district and city.
Centennial Village is located 1475 A St. at Island Grove Park in Greeley.  For more information, call (970) 350-9220 or visit
