Subject: 10th Street Access Control Project-Construction Zone
The roadway at 10th Street from 25th Avenue to 32nd Avenue will be reconstructed, and improvements made, including: bike path, pedestrian, sidewalk and concrete median. This will include removal of asphalt and concrete pavement, excavations, reset of traffic signal controller and cabinet including detection system (camera and signs). Construction will start on April 21, 2014 . During construction, there will be at least one through lane open to traffic in each direction on 10th Street.
Digital message boards will be installed on the approaches to the construction area as well as detour signs. Motorists are asked to find alternate routes as there will definitely be delays along the 10th Street corridor.
Roadway Construction Details
The project includes removal of asphalt; installation of concrete for all sidewalks; installation of new curb and gutter, new curb ramps and median cover material along 10th Street Corridor.
