Weld County Drug Task Force
The Weld County Drug Task Force, (WCDTF), recently concluded an eighteen month long investigation into narcotic trafficking by the owners of T & G Tire Shop, 414 North 11th Avenue, Greeley, CO. Arrested were Alvaro Adrian Tellez, 033082, Hector Tellez, 110282, and Gladys Almodobar (Tellez), 12-22-88.
During the course of the investigation the WCDTF purchased almost a pound of cocaine from Hector Tellez. On February 13, 2013, the Task Force served search warrants at two residences with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Evans Police Department. The residences searched belonged to Adrian Tellez, 3313 Belmont Avenue in Evans, and Hector Tellez, 121 21st Ave, #56, in Greeley.
Seized from the Belmont address were 613.8 grams of cocaine, 1,329.6 grams of marijuana, and $49,631.00 in cash. In addition, investigators recovered a stolen Smith and Wesson .357 handgun. Seized from the 21st Avenue address were 3.5 grams of cocaine and $2785.00 in cash.
Hector Tellez was arrested during a traffic stop just prior to the warrant service and an additional 128.3 grams of cocaine were seized from the vehicle. Hector Tellez was arrested for five counts of Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and one count of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
Alvaro Adrian Tellez was arrested for Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Less Than 5 Pounds of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Money Laundering and Theft by Receiving.
Gladys Almodobar (Tellez) was arrested for Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
