NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY AWARD NOMINATIONS DUE NEXT WEEK
March 15, 2010 (Greeley, CO) – National Youth Service Day is an annual public awareness and education campaign designed to broaden national, regional and local recognition of the power of youth service. The purpose of this day is to reinforce to young Americans the importance and the excitement of helping others. Members of the community can nominate area youth who have played a key role in providing community service for this award. Nominations are due by Monday, March 22 at 5pm. Read more...

ICE HAUS TO HOST REGIONALS THIS WEEKEND
February 24, 2010 (Greeley, CO) – The Greeley Ice Haus will be hosting the ACHA Division II Regional’s beginning for the first time which begin on Friday, February 25. The University of Northern Colorado’s Hockey Team, whose home ice is the Greeley Ice Haus, will be participating in the event. They will play against DU on Friday at 8pm. Read more...
5th ANNUAL YOUTH SUMMIT ON DIVERSITY TO BE HELD IN APRIL
February 25, 2010 (Greeley, CO) – City of Greeley’s Leisure Services Department in conjunction with School District 6 will be holding the 5th Annual Youth Summit on Diversity and Leadership Friday, April 2. The event is free for high school students and is offered as part of the Tony Grampas Youth Services Grant. A group of high school students from the community plan the workshop. FAMILY FUNPLEX BEST PLACE TO HOST A PARTY
February 8, 2010 (Greeley, CO) – The Family FunPlex Adventure Island Aquatics Center – owned and operated by the City of Greeley Leisure Services Department – is a great place to have a birthday party or special event. FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE THIS WEEKEND
January 26, 2010 (Greeley, CO) – The City of Greeley Leisure Services Department – Recreation Division will be hosting their first Father/Daughter dance this weekend. The event will be held at the Greeley Recreation Center complete with the option to have a meal prior, a professional photograph taken of the couple attending, great music and fun activities. The dance is scheduled for Friday, January 29 from 6-8pm and Saturday 12-2pm & 4-6pm (the Sunday 12-2pm dance has been cancelled due to low ticket sales). Read more...
ICE HAUS CELEBRATES OLYMPICS WITH SPECIAL EVENT
January 19, 2010 (Greeley, CO) – The Greeley Ice Haus is celebrating the 2010 Olympics that begin in February with a special event. Be a Champion Skate will be held on Saturday, February 20 from Noon- 1:30pm. They will offer Olympic inspired games, exhibitions by the Mountain View Skating Club skaters and skating demonstrations between 1:30-2pm. Read more...
