SUMMER FUN IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER

May 14, 2013 (Greeley, CO) – Traditionally, Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of summer and all the fun in the sun. Outdoor Pools and Splash Parks in Greeley open on Thursday, May 23 this year, the day after the last day of school. Over Memorial Day weekend there will be many events and facilities you can visit with friends and family. All City of Greeley recreation facilities will be open their regular hours on Memorial Day, except the Greeley Senior Activity Center and the Rodarte Community Center, which will be closed. FAMILY FUNPLEX ADVENTURE ISLAND WATER PARK CLOSED FOR REPAIRS

April 26, 2013 (Greeley, CO) – The City of Greeley’s Culture, Parks, and Recreation Department will be closing the Adventure Island Indoor Waterpark, located inside the Family FunPlex, on Monday, May 6th thru Friday, May 17th for underground repairs due to a leak underneath the swimming pool deck. The rest of the Family FunPlex, located at 1501 65th Avenue in Greeley, will remain open. Read more...

 

LAZY RIVER CLOSED AT THE FUNPLEX INDEFINITELY

April 17, 2013 (Greeley, CO) – The City of Greeley’s Culture, Parks, and Recreation Department will be closing the Lazy River at the Family FunPlex Adventure Island Indoor Waterpark on Wednesday, April 17th due to an underground leak in the swimming pool re-circulation system. The pool is being closed due to a recognizable loss of water. Work will begin on investigating the location of the leak as soon as possible. ONLINE REGISTRATION ALERT

April 17, 2013 (Greeley, CO) – The City of Greeley’s Culture, Parks, and Recreation Department was notified by the Colorado Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) that there is a possible fraudulent web site listing Greeley Recreation activities and registrations. Findsportsnow.com has been posting programs and evidently collecting registration fees and not passing them on to the hosting facilities. Read more...

 

ICE HAUS HOCKEY PLAYERS SKATE AT EAGLES GAME

April 12, 2013 (Greeley, CO) – Greeley Ice Haus mini-mite Hockey Cub and Youth Hockey League participants skated at the Colorado Eagles Game on Saturday, April 6. These boys and girls ages 4-8 yrs old skate twice a week at the Ice Haus and are from various Northern Colorado communities. Most of them have been skating 1-2 years and are learning the fundamentals of hockey and teamwork in a safe and fun environment. Read more...

 

ANOTHER ICE HAUS STUDENT CELEBRATES SKATE SCHOOL GRADUATION

April 10, 2013 (Greeley, CO) – The Greeley Ice Haus had another Skate School Graduate – Zoe Allen – recognized on Saturday, March 30 for completing their Basic Skills Skate School Program. Allen was presented with a certificate from Aspen Leaf Yogurt and a trophy. To date, there have been eighteen students that have been recognized with certificates for participating in various classes this year alone. Read more...
