Sister City Program
Did you know the City of Greeley and Moriya, Japan have been celebrating and
fostering a "Sister City" relationship for more than 20 years? Every odd year summer,
the City of Greeley sponsors approximately ten high school students to visit Moriya,
Japan, as part of a student exchange. During even years, Greeley students host Moriya
students. Planning has already begun for Greeley youth to visit Moriya, scheduled for
June of 2015.
Who can participate?
If you excel in academics, are a resident of Greeley, are interested
in fun and adventure and excited about the possibility of developing life-long friendships
with people from across the Pacific Ocean then a trip to Moriya, Japan is perfect for you!

As part of the exchange, students from Moriya also visit the City of Greeley for a week.
The next one happens in June of 2016 and the City is always looking for volunteer host families.
