Did you know the City of Greeley and Moriya, Japan have been celebrating
and fostering a Sister City relationship for more than 20 years? Every odd
year summer the City of Greeley sponsors approximately ten high school
students to visit Moriya, Japan as part of a student exchange. During even
years, Greeley students host Moriya students. Planning has already begun for
Greeley youth to visit Moriya, scheduled for June of 2015.
The Sister City Student Exchange Program is a wonderful opportunity for
students from both cities to explore each other's country and learn more about
their cultures, traditions, and way of life.

If you’re a business owner or individual looking for a great way to help
students financially afford this trip, please consider sponsoring a student. The
City offers up to ten $1,000 scholarships to help offset the cost to students

Host Families Needed in 2016
Students from Moriya, Japan will visit our city in June of 2016 as part of
the Student Exchange Program. We are always looking for families to volunteer as
hosts for students and their chaperones. If you're interested in being a host
