There are two construction projects scheduled on Greeley portions of the Poudre River Trail, starting next Monday and lasting through much of the week.
Trail improvements are scheduled along the Poudre River Trail the week of August 14, just west of the Rover Run Dog Park. A detour route is available along F Street with signage to advise vehicular traffic of the presence of cyclists and pedestrians along the roadside.
Another section of the trail, the Signature Bluffs area (formerly known as Poudre River Ranch) between 83rd Avenue through 81st Avenue, will be closed and under construction at the same time. Bike traffic will also be re-routed to the street for this portion of the project.
Trail users are urged to use caution along both areas and the trail should re-open for weekend use.
For more information, call the city’s Natural Areas office at 970-339-2405. The office is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
