Greeley Offers Food Tax Rebates for Low-Income Households

2017 Food Tax Rebate

The City of Greeley’s 2017 food tax rebate program application process for low-income Greeley residents runs from February 1 through May 31, 2018. The maximum rebate is $65 per person.

Applicants must have been a Greeley resident for at least 10 months in 2017, and must be a resident at the time of application. Proof of residency is required. Qualified family members are legal dependents claimed on federal form 1040. A Social Security number must be provided for each family member claimed on the application.

Maximum income limits for food tax rebate eligibility are the annual Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Greeley MSA very low income limits.

Applications and bi-lingual assistance are available at Greeley City Hall, 1000 10th Street or at 970-350-9748.  Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The application and instructions are also available in English and Spanish online at greeleygov.com/finance.
