On December 3, 2014 at about 9:30 AM the manager at the Stuft Burger Restaurant at 819 9th Street in Greeley reported that the Christmas tree that had been placed in front of the business as decoration had been stolen overnight.
The business has surveillance cameras established and did capture images at 2:15 AM of the two male adults that took the tree and presents that were beneath the tree. These surveillance images were placed on media and the Greeley Police Website social media and developed information of the possible identity of the perpetrators of the theft. The information was followed-up by an investigation on Wednesday afternoon and evening and contact with one of the two individuals was accomplished in Loveland, Colorado.

The stolen tree was recovered last night from a residence in Evans, Colorado, and additional contact with the suspects will occur today when they receive summons to appear in court for the misdemeanor theft. Identities of the two suspects will be released later today.
