Thanksgiving Weekend Hours and Holiday Events

All Recreation facilities will be closed on Thursday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Join us at the FunPlex and Greeley Ice Haus on Friday & Saturday for some great holiday events! The Greeley Recreation Center, Greeley Senior Activity Center, and the Rodarte Community Center will be closed on Friday, November 28, the day after Thanksgiving as well.
         
Skate off some of those extra pounds gained during your Thanksgiving dinner at the Ice Haus on Friday, November 28 from 12-5pm as they host their annual Skate Your Turkey Off – admission is only $3 plus $2 for skate rental (skate rental is FREE if you bring 2 non-perishable food items for the Weld Food Bank).
         
Or get in the holiday spirit with the 9th Annual Historic Skate on Saturday, November 29 from 7:15-10pm – enjoy photos with Santa and skate on the indoor ‘pond’ as the Ice Haus recreates Lincoln Park indoors! The event takes place right after the Greeley Lights the Night Parade in downtown Greeley, so stop by for some great photo opportunities for you holiday cards! Admission is $4 for adults & youth, children 4 & under $1 with $2 skate rental – FREE admission with a donated toy for our youth programs.
         
Adventure Island Indoor Waterpark at the Family FunPlex is open on Friday, November 28 from 10am-6pm, so come take a dip in the warm water pool, or hang out in the Fieldhouse to shoot some hoops, try inline skating, and play a round of miniature golf – weather permitting – at their River Run Adventure Mini Golf Course.  You won’t want to miss this year’s Holiday Ice Showcase – Saturday, December 14 from 3-4:30pm as the Ice Haus Skate School and Mountain View Skating Club skaters dazzle you with some exciting holiday entertainment. Tickets are on sale now – admission is just $7, kids 2 and under are free; every ticket purchased comes with a 10% discount on winter Skate School classes!
