Land Use Application Submittal

File Format

Submittals such as site plan, plat, constructions plans, landscape plan, and so forth, should be 11"x17” size documents.

Other documents, such as the legal description, project narrative, reports, and studies should be in 8½“x12” size documents.

All documents submitted to the City of Greeley should be in PDF format.

Review Fee

Each Land Use Application has an associated review fee.

Review Process

Submittals provided by 5:00 p.m. Monday will be scheduled for review by the Administrative Review Team the following Wednesday. Project submittals are typically scheduled for a two-week review depending on the complexity of the project and the current queue. Keep in mind that all Land Use Applications require different submitted items as requested on the application and in the Pre-Application Meeting. Be aware that additional items may be requested during the review process. An incomplete application submittal may delay the review process, and a review will typically only be scheduled after all items are completely submitted.

Resubmittal/Approval

Resubmittals for active cases may be done electronically and should be submitted in the same manner as the original electronic submission. Review comments and/or redlines will be emailed back to the email address provided on the Land Use Application. If there are any questions, please contact the assigned planner/engineer to the application. Applicants can also schedule a meeting with the review team to discuss outstanding comments. The resubmittal should contain the entire document that was revised.

We now accept Land Use Application submittals electronically. This is the preferred method of submission, though paper copies will still be accepted.

A Pre-Application Meeting with the Planning Manager and Engineering Development Review Manager is generally required and advisable prior to submittal.

Hard Copy Plans

Upon all comments being addressed signed and sealed, hard copy plans will need to be submitted for project approval. The assigned planner/engineer may require additional hard copies of the approved documents depending on the proposed application.
