Our Water Conservation program is one of the largest and most successful in Colorado. Between 1990 and 2007, universal metering and other conservation programs dropped water demand by more than 20 percent in Greeley. The Conservation Plan estimates an additional eight percent reduction in water use over the next 20 years.

The last Greeley showerhead exchange of the year will be on Saturday, September 9 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The exchange is held at the Farmers’ Market at the Union Pacific Depot at 902 7th Avenue in Downtown Greeley.
City of Greeley water customers can bring old showerheads to exchange and get new high-efficiency models in exchange. People also should bring a Greeley Water bill with their water account number when exchanging their showerhead. There are many types of showerheads available, including handheld models. In addition, customers can choose a showerhead in either white or chrome to match their bathroom fixtures.
