Prescription Drug Take Back Day in Greeley

Saturday, April 27, 2013
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Greeley Police Department - 2875 10th Street

Turn in your unused or expired medication for safe disposal.

This one-day effort is intended to bring national focus to the issue of increasing pharmaceutical and controlled substance abuse and the growing level of pharmaceuticals in our waterways. The service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked.

This event will also help prevent water pollution. Preventing improper disposal of harmful chemicals in streams, sewers and trash is important to local water quality. When drugs are flushed down the toilet, they are introduced into the water system. This take-back program will help prevent drugs entering our water supplies and wastewater systems.
