Diversity and Inclusion Trainings
The City of Greeley is offering free classes on communication, diversity, and inclusion for our staff and others who may be interested in these topics. All sessions are held in the City Hall Training Room on the Lower Level of 1000 10th Street. Please use RSVP for one or more of the sessions.
Neighborhood Fire Alarm InstallThe Greeley Fire Department partners with local organizations to install smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms to in neighborhoods homes in Greeley. The next install is scheduled for October 14 at 8 a.m. at Villa West Mobile Home Park. There is a large need for bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteers. Volunteer training begins at 8 and will break into installtion groups at 9 a.m. Please e-mail

Firefly Trail Construction at McCloskey Natural AreaThe City of Greeley is joining forces with Volunteers for Outdoors Colorado. This project is to build a soft-surface nature trail in McCloskey Natural Area on October 7.

Weld Project ConnectWeld Project Connect is an annual, one-day event on October 20. It provides numerous on-site services directly to individuals and households struggling and in need due to housing instability, job loss, age, health problems and other issues that can interrupt a life.
Volunteer Navigators are needed to support Weld Project Connect. Navigators are paired one-on-one with a guest; Navigators guide the guest through the event to receive services.
Boards and CommissionsBoards and Commissions are groups of citizen volunteers that study special community issues and provide direction, comment and recommendations to the City Council. These 24 groups are the voice of the community; they influence public policy and programming decisions that can affect the entire city.
Check back each month to see what are the current vacancies. City Council MeetingsPublic input, without advance registration, is accepted at regular
City Council meetings. Speakers are limited to 3 minutes each. The meetings take place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. at School District Six Board of Education Meeting Room 1025 9th Avenue.
