Thank You For Extending Our Quality Of Life Measures

I am thankful, humbled, and proud of the Greeley community for stepping up and continuing efforts to make our quality of life something that is extraordinary. Last month voters overwhelmingly approved two important ballot measures, 2O and 2P, both of which were continuations to fund quality of life improvements and public safety enhancements. Both measures passed with close to 70 percent of the vote, showing how important these projects are to our community.

Over the past 20 years, both measures helped to fund things like the Greeley Family FunPlex, the Greeley Ice Haus, improvements to the City’s museums, and the new Greeley Police Headquarters. I would suggest that all of those have helped make life better in Greeley. Now these measures will continue to improve the community for another two decades. Some of the funding will go towards expanding roadway infrastructure and improvements along the U.S. 34 corridor, some will provide for a new fire station, some to rebuild fire station #2, and some will go towards a new west side park.

Everyone at the City of Greeley, myself included, is touched by your confidence in us to continue creating projects in our City that will improve the quality of life for residents for generations to come. We thank you for your trust and your support as we look to the future as a city achieving excellence.
