This week, City of Greeley parks staff started converting 5.6 acres of native grass at Bittersweet Park—16
th Street and 35
th Avenue—back to traditional Kentucky Bluegrass. The conversion comes from a decision made by Greeley City Council following community-wide feedback.

Potato Day returns to Centennial Village Museum to wrap up the 2022 summer season from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at 1475 A Street. This popular community event pays tribute to Greeley’s agricultural heritage and is the City of Greeley Museums’ biggest fundraising event of the year.

Centennial Village Museum launches three Saturdays of historical workshops from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 13, 20, and 27 at 1475 A Street. Visitors can practice heritage activities, like the basics of woodworking, historical games, and hand loom weaving.
My Greeley

My Greeley an initiative created to further the sense of civic pride that Greeley, Colorado residents have for their beloved city. Greeley is many things to many different people; however, what is most interesting about the City of Greeley to any resident or visitor is as unique as that individual itself. Hence, we created My Greeley as a community page, a meeting place where people can come to not only learn more about Greeley, CO, but also contribute their own voice and insight into helping define what makes Greeley so quintessentially Greeley.
