Greeley’s Economic Health Is In Good Hands

Greeley is growing in just about every way imaginable. But we are always striving to make sure that we develop the “right” way. We want to ensure success now, as well as in the long-term. This is why I am pleased to have Benjamin Snow as our new Director of Economic Health and Housing. With a proven record of success, his position is key to our city government excelling alongside different industries and business sectors.

Since 2016, the Office of Economic Development was managed by the City Manager’s Office, but now Mr. Snow has taken the reins. His duties include meeting with business owners to understand what issues they face, walking them through development and review processes, managing incentives programs, overseeing workforce development programs, as well as taking leadership of the Greeley Urban Renewal Authority, and more.

Mr. Snow was most recently the President of the Rapid City Economic Development Partnership in Rapid City, South Dakota. During his service, the Rapid City MSA experienced GDP growth of 30%. Snow has nearly 24 years of economic and real estate development experience and has served in Arizona, Colorado, and South Dakota. I am excited to see what his skills can do to help Greeley build its future.

Snow has become part of Greeley’s executive team to align the organization’s economic development tools and resources to develop and increase the City’s economic health. I believe his talents will significantly benefit this community for years to come.
