On World Environment Day, June 5, Owens-Illinois (O-I) will host a friendly competition among its five GLASS4GOOD programs, including the City of Greeley. The community with the most glass recycling selfies posted on Instagram will earn an additional $500 for their charitable partner.

Greeley Adopts Unauthorized Camping Ordinance to Address Public Health, Safety and Community Concerns

On June 3, Greeley City Council approved a new ordinance that limits camping on public and private property. It also limits the outdoor storage of personal items on public property. The rule is part of a larger effort to deal with concerns about safety, health hazards and damage to public spaces and buildings.  

Celebrate America in the 20th Century with Two Free Pre-Chautauqua Events

Author John Daly will give a presentation at the Greeley History Museum on July 12 about the connections between his book “Safeguard” and Weld County’s Atlas E Missile site.
