Low Income & Food Tax (LIFT) and Utility Program (UP)

The City of Greeley is accepting applications for the 2024 Low Income & Food Tax (LIFT) and Utility Program (UP) from February 1 through May 31, 2025. Residents can apply for both programs with one easy application.

Same Programs, New Name

The LIFT UP programs are the same as last year’s Food Tax Rebate and Utility Assistance Program. The two programs offer rebates to help low-income families offset costs associated with food and utility bills.

Rebate Amounts

The maximum LIFT rebate is $100 per qualified applicants each year. In addition, the City of Greeley increased the onetime Utility Program credit to a $150 credit toward your water bill. The increase helps offset the higher Stormwater rate increase in 2025. Your name must be on the water account to receive this credit.
