Event Planning

General inquiries and event planning requests can be made to Info.Islandgrove@greeleygov.com. You can also visit the office Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Our address is 1229 D. Street, Greeley CO 80631 -- across the street from Aven's Village playground at Island Grove Regional Park.

Facility Rental Times
Sunday - Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday - Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Park Rental Times
Sunday - Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Please note: private events are not listed on our public calendar for privacy reasons. Please check with the Scheduling Office to confirm availability.

Food and Beverage

Food

For all private events where food is being served, a $1.00 surcharge fee per person will be added to the contract. Renters may bring in their own food or use any caterer of their choice. Private events with less than 100 attendees are exempt from this policy if they are providing homemade food. If a catering company or food establishment is providing the food, Island Grove will collect 15% of the total bill or $1.00 per person whichever amount is less regardless of amount of attendees.

For all public events where food is served or sold, food vendors will be charged 15% of all food and beverage sales and must be approved by the Scheduling Office at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

Alcohol and Security

Alcohol is allowed in Island Grove facilities but must be purchased through Island Grove’s alcohol concessionaire.  Professional security is required in Island Grove facilities during events that are serving liquor. Security Guards must be present the entire duration of the event until all guests have vacated the premises, regardless of what time the bar is serving. Please contact Deb Nelson with Park Concessionaires at 970-576-2044 for more information and security requirements.

Equipment

Depending on the facility rented at Island Grove, some equipment may be included in the rental rate. Additional equipment is available for rent for use at Island Grove for an additional fee.

Costs

  • $12 each per table within Island Grove Regional Park (includes picnic tables)
  • $2 per plastic chair
  • $2.50 per padded chairs
  • $600 mobile stage (24' x 24')
  • $260 15' x 15' dance floor
  • $275 portable projector
  • $170 per hour Forklift + operator
