Ordinances are published on this page once they are introduced until they are passed or defeated. Prior to adoption, an ordinance must be introduced at any regular or special meeting of the City Council. Pursuant to Sec. 3-17 of the Greeley Home Rule Charter, if an ordinance is approved on first introduction, it shall be published in full, with notice given with that publication of the day, hour and place the Council will hold a public hearing on the ordinance before its passage.

PUBLICATIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 21 COUNCIL MEETING:

I, Anissa Hollingshead, City Clerk of the City of Greeley, Colorado, do hereby certify that the following are ordinances considered, passed, and adopted by the Greeley City Council for final approval at a meeting held on September 21, 2021. 
The following ordinance was published in full in the June 4, 2021, edition of The Greeley Tribune and considered at a public hearing held June 15, 2021:

  • Ordinance No. 34, 2021 - An Ordinance amending Title 24 of the Greeley Municipal Code relating to the Development Code by deleting the current title in its entirety and adding a new Chapter 1 relating to General Provisions and a new Chapter 2 relating to Procedures.

The following ordinance was published in full in the August 20, 2021, edition of The Greeley Tribune and considered at a public hearing held September 7, 2021:

  • Ordinance No. 35, 2021 - An  Ordinance amending Title 24 of the Greeley Municipal Code relating to the Development Code by deleting the current title in its entirety and adding a new Chapter 3 relating to Subdivision Standards, a new Chapter 4 relating to Zoning Districts and uses, a new Chapter 5 relating to Residential Development Standards, a new Chapter 6 relating to Nonresidential Development Standards, and a new Chapter 13 relating to Definitions and Terms.

The following ordinance was published in full in the July 9, 2021, edition of The Greeley Tribune and considered at a public hearing held July 20, 2021:

  • Ordinance No. 36, 2021 - An  Ordinance amending Title 24 of the Greeley Municipal Code relating to the Development Code by deleting the current title in its entirety and adding a new Chapter 7 relating to Access and Parking, a new Chapter 8 relating to Landscape Standards, a new Chapter 9 relating to Sign Standards, a new Chapter 10 relating to Special Districts and Areas, a new Chapter 11 relating to Supplemental Standards, and a new Chapter 12 reserved for Metropolitan Districts.

The following ordinance was published in full in the September 10, 2021, edition of The Greeley Tribune and was considered, passed, and adopted by the Greeley City Council for final approval after a public hearing held on September 21, 2021 :

  • Ordinance No. 37, 2021 - An Ordinances appropriating additional sums to defray the expenses and liabilities of the City of Greeley for the balance of the fiscal year of 2021 and for funds held in reserve for encumbrances at December 31, 2020.

These ordinances will be effective five days after this publication, unless otherwise noted.  Said ordinances are on file with the City Clerk's Office and available for public inspection below.

Said ordinance is on file with the City Clerk's Office and is available for public inspection in full below.

  • Ordinance No. 38, 2021 - An Ordinance ratifying and adopting the Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the Greeley Fire Fighters Union and the City of Greeley, Colorado, which agreement by its terms is for a period commencing January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023.

  • Ordinance No. 39, 2021 - An Ordinance adopting the budget for 2022 and making appropriations for 2022.
  • Ordinance No. 40, 2021 - An Ordinance changing the official zoning map of the City of Greeley, Colorado, from I-H (Industrial High Intensity), I-M (Industrial Medium Intensity) and C-D (Conservation District) to I-M (Industrial Medium Intensity) for approximately 25.579 acres of property located at 300 E 8th Street known as the City of Greeley Wastewater Treatment Facility Rezone. 
  • Ordinance No. 41, 2021 - An Ordinance amending Article VI, Chapter 3, Title 20 of the Greeley Municipal Code (Industrial Pretreatment Chapter).
  • Ordinance No. 42, 2021 - An Ordinance adopting the 2021 Non-Potable Water Master Plan and amending the 2018 Comprehensive plan to include the same by reference.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be conducted by the City Council of the City of Greeley, Colorado, at its regular meeting to be held October 19, 2021, on the proposed City budget for 2022.
The proposed budget is on file in the office of the City Clerk, 1000 10th Street, and is available for review during regular business hours and can be found on the City's website at Greeleygov.com.
The City Council meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Center South Campus, 1001 11th Avenue with public participation also available through Zoom.
A brief summary of the proposed budget is attached.
