Let
us keep this 4th of July holiday weekend fun, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
Fireworks
If you plan on shooting off fireworks in Greeley, be sure you use legal ones and leave the big fireworks to trained and licensed
professionals.
The Greeley Stampede is planning a fireworks show at Island Grove on July 4, beginning about 9:30 p.m.
Active Fireworks complaints can be made to the Greeley Police Department by calling dispatch at 970-350-9600 ext 4. Other fireworks-related complaints can be made online at Greeleypd.com. The police department will do its best to enforce the city’s municipal code and respond to violations.
Independence Day Parade
The Greeley Stampede Independence Day parade is a traditional event
that brings families back year after year. The parade runs north along historic 10th Avenue, starting amidst the beautiful University of Northern Colorado campus at 19th Street and ending on 5th Street beyond historic Lincoln Park.
The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. sharp on Saturday, July 3.
As Independence Day approaches, City of Greeley officials want to remind residents and visitors of city guidelines for when and how to save a spot on city property to enjoy Greeley’s Fourth of July Parade. Greeley’s Culture, Parks and Recreation Department staff will conduct maintenance, including areas
along the parade route—City Hall, Lincoln Park, and the Greeley Recreation Center landscapes—up until the close of business Friday, July 2.
The City of Greeley, Greeley Fire Department, and the Greeley Stampede will
be live streaming the parade on YouTube for those who can’t make the parade in person.
