10th Street Improvement Work Open House

10th-Street-WEB

At an open house meeting, City of Greeley staff want to discuss with community members work planned for 10th Street this summer and gather feedback about the project.

This summer, work begins to reconstruct and improve two stretches of 10th Street — from 23rd Avenue to 27th Avenue and between 30th and 35th avenues.

The open house will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Monday, April 8, in the Greeley Police Department community room, 2875 W. 10th Street.

The city improved the first stretch of the project, 10th Street between 27th and 30th avenues, in 2015. That work removed and replaced the old asphalt and concrete pavement, improved the roadway, and installed new curbs, gutters, medians, sidewalks, and landscaping.

This summer, those same improvements take place along these two stretches of 10th Street.

Construction begins in May and work will alternate between both sections of road with lane closures. Digital message boards placed around the project will display construction information and detour signs may advise drivers to take alternate routes during construction. Local, emergency and business access will remain open during all construction.
