An open house will be held on Wednesday, May 29 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to share ideas and develop concepts related to upgrades to the 16^th Street Corridor from 7th to 10^th avenues.  This project is a subsequent phase and complement to the corridor improvements that were made to the 8^th Avenue Corridor from Downtown to the UNC Campus. 

The plan was initiated by the University District partnership consisting of the City of Greeley, UNC, Banner Health and the Downtown Development Authority. It reflected comments and input from area residents and businesses provided at a planning meeting last year.

The goal of the plan is to enhance the function, appeal and utilization of this corridor to complement existing and anticipated residential, businesses and institutional uses in the area and support the linkage between the UNC campus and community.
