Annual Party for the Poudre
The public is invited to join the Poudre River Trail Board and supporters for its annual full moon “Party for the Poudre” celebration on October 20 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Poudre Learning Center at 8313 W. F Street in Greeley.
The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, dessert and drink from local vendors, entertainment by the Briana Harris Ensemble, door prizes and presentations, updates on upcoming projects and challenge grants, and a special unveiling of a new Poudre River Trail Corridor logo. All funds raised at the event will be dedicated to the installation of new trail amenities.
The Poudre River Trail extends 21 miles along the Cache la Poudre River from the west side of Windsor to the east side of Greeley. Nine trailheads provide convenient access to the trail which traverses through natural areas, neighborhoods and special areas unique to northern Colorado. The Poudre River Trail Corridor, Inc. is a local non-profit organization, managed by a local board comprised of representatives and professional staff from the City of Greeley, Town of Windsor, and Weld County. Together they form a community partnership that maintains and improves the incredible trail experienced today.
