Celebrate Spring at Centennial Village Museum’s Baby Animal Days
Say hello to Centennial Village Museum's resident animals and their new friends. Baby Animal Days will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 14-16 and 20-23 at 1475 A Street, Greeley.
The event welcomes visitors to the museum before the official start of the summer season. In the past, more than 4,000 regional visitors attended the event.
Centennial Village Museum opens for regular summer hours on May 26.
Tickets are $4 for ages three and up. Wagon rides are available on Saturdays (weather permitting).
Baby Animals, Games, and Living History
This year's event will include goats, lambs, a calf, chicks, rabbits, piglets and more. They join the museum's resident turkey, chickens, and Cinnamon the cow. Try some of the museum's historic games. Visit living history presentations like printmaking or blacksmithing.
Expect a quicker check-in process this year. The museum team will work through the line to process any cash payments, keeping the wait time brief.
Centennial Village Museum opened in 1976 and is a part of the City of Greeley Museums. The site is a living history experience with more than 35 historical buildings on 8 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. The museum features costumed interpreters and heritage farm animals. The museum preserves and interprets American western heritage in the Colorado high plains region. It houses some of Weld County’s oldest structures and hosts annual special events.
