City of Greeley Community Survey Begins Next Week

Starting the week of Oct. 21, more than 3,000 randomly selected households in Greeley will receive the 2019 City of Greeley community survey in the mail.

If your household is chosen to participate, please take 8 to 10 minutes to complete the survey and share your feedback. Greeley City Council and staff use the survey results to help inform decisions about how best to use public resources to provide services, address community priorities, and promote Greeley.

The more responses gathered, the more accurate and representative the survey data will be. Mailed packets contain a unique link for recipients to complete the survey online or a paper survey and an enclosed postage-paid envelope to return it.

In order to gather a representative sample, surveys are only distributed to randomly selected households in Greeley. An online survey is also sent to randomly selected students at the University of Northern Colorado to gather student feedback and insights. The city simultaneously conducts a non-resident survey of people in other communities and areas to gather feedback about their perceptions of Greeley.

Survey data will be shared upon completion in early 2020 on the city’s website greeleygov.com. National Research Center, Inc., an independent survey research firm in Colorado, administers the surveys.
