City of Greeley Requests Feedback on Future of Transportation

GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley is requesting community input on the second phase of its mobility development plan

The plan, which kicked off earlier this year, involves the design of a safe and efficient transportation network that will:

  • Improve connection points and choices to destinations like grocery stores, parks and downtown.
  • Encourage the use of driving alternatives to improve air quality and reduce congestion.
  • Increase choices for longer distance travel.
  • Provide more frequent and efficient Greeley-Evans Transit service in the region.

In phase one, residents were encouraged to drop pins on a map to share where the city’s mobility system needs changes. This initial feedback was used to create possible near-term and long-term scenarios for an improved network.

  • The Near-Term Scenario (0-2 years) shows a modified network focused on bus route improvements, enhanced service frequency and additional microtransit options.
  • The Long-Term Scenario (3-10 years) shows a completely updated network focused on enhanced transit corridors, improved micromobility options and microtransit zones across Greeley.

For phase two, the city requests residents explore these proposed scenarios, then take a survey about which elements should be prioritized in the development. The city will use the responses to finalize the plan, which will be presented to the public at the end of the year.
