City of Greeley Schedule for Martin Luther King Day
GREELEY, Colo. — City of Greeley administrative buildings will close for Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 15. Emergency services, including fire and police, will operate as usual.
City facilities remaining open include:
- Greeley Active Adult Center, 1010 6th Street
- Rodarte Community Center, 920 A Street
- Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Avenue
- Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Avenue
- Greeley Ice Haus, 900 8th Avenue
- Greeley-Evans Transit and the Poudre Express, 101 11th Avenue
- Highland Hills Golf Course, 2200 Clubhouse Drive, weather-permitting
- Boomerang Links Golf Course, 7309 W. 4th Street, weather-permitting
Volunteer Opportunities in Greeley for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is January 15, with opportunities for remembrance and recognition in Greeley throughout the day. If you’re interested in joining the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center, the University of Northern Colorado and the City of Greeley in lifting the community together, we encourage you to sign up to serve today as a team or as an individual to serve or to provide resources or donations at the 2024 MLK Day of Service.
The 2024 Day of Service project involves building and decorating Little Free Libraries for the University of Northern Colorado campus. The libraries will house books focused on social justice education.
