City of Greeley Schedule for Veterans Day
In observance of Veterans Day, the City of Greeley will close and cease many standard public-facing services for Wednesday, Nov 11.
- Greeley administrative buildings will close and some non-emergency services will cease for the holiday.
- Event organizers canceled the annual Veterans Day memorial service at Bittersweet Park due to COVID-19 restrictions. Officials still welcome residents to visit the Weld County Veterans Memorial at Bittersweet Park or Linn Grove Cemetery and encourage community members to celebrate Veterans Day in their own way as public health orders allow.
- Several Greeley Recreation facilities will open on Veterans Day with limited hours and restrictions. This includes the Family FunPlex, Greeley Recreation Center and Greeley Ice Haus. Please visit GreeleyRec.com or call 970-350-9401 for more information.
- Greeley-Evans Transit (GET) and the Poudre Express Regional Bus Route will operate on the regular schedule on Veterans Day. Safety precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 prevent GET from operating at normal service levels and limit the capacity of buses.
The City of Greeley supports the statewide public health orders working to slow the spread of COVID-19. As COVID-19 continues in Weld County, community efforts to abide by state orders help slow the spread and help the city offer safe, in-person services for the entire community.
