City of Greeley to Host Community Update on Housing and Homelessness
The City of Greeley invites residents to a community update on housing and homelessness from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, in Council Chambers at City Center South, 1001 11th Avenue.
During the presentation, attendees will:
- hear an update on the City’s homelessness initiatives
- learn about Greeley’s new Housing Initiatives Department
- view results of the 2023 Point in Time Count of unhoused in Greeley
- hear about the Weld County Department of Public Health Community Health survey
- learn how to get involved.
Officials ask residents to RSVP to attend at bit.ly/3KTsJ7w. Light refreshments will be available.
“The community meeting will be the first of many updates the city is planning,” said Assistant City Manager Juliana Kitten.
“I encourage everyone to attend and be part of the discussion,” Kitten said. “We know it will take many people working together to see real change in our community.”
The project team encourages those who can’t attend to visit the City’s Speak Up website to watch a recorded video of the presentation after June 8.
