District 6 and Friends Art Walk Makes a Stop at the Tointon Gallery
District 6 High Schools will have their artwork on display at the Tointon Gallery, 651 10th Ave., during the annual Art Walk. All District 6 High Schools were invited to participate in the exhibit and include: Early College Academy, Greeley Central High School, Greeley West High School, Jefferson Senior High School and Northridge High School. The show begins with an opening reception and light refreshments Friday, March 1, in conjunction with the celebration of the downtown annual Art Walk, and runs through Saturday, March 16. The Tointon Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and during many of the performances at the Union Colony Civic Center. Admission to the gallery is free.
The opening reception is scheduled for Friday, March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Tointon Gallery presents over ten changing shows annually to provide enjoyment, education and to encourage dialogue around art.
